ActiveWrap
Instructions :
|
| COLD |
Place
packs without compress wrap in freezer
for 1-2 hours before initial application. For
sensitive skin use cold with thin sock
or paper towel barrier between gel-packs
and treatment area. Packs may be used
in rotation every 15 minutes as recommended
by your health care professional. Crushed
ice may be substituted for gel packs
inside pouches if desired.
|
| |
HEAT
|
Remove
packs from protective pouches and place
in microwave on high power for 30 sec
intervals up to 1 minute maximum. Packs
may also be warmed in boiling water with
maximum boiling time reached at 3 minutes.
Always check temperature prior to application.
Insert packs back into sleeves and position
inside wrap.
|
| |
Precautions:
|
Use
packs only as directed. Overheating packs
may cause expansion. Hot packs can cause
burns if handled improperly. After heating
pack, always check temperature before
applying to body. As with many forms
of cold treatment, ski irritation may
occur as a result of improper usage.
Cold therapy should not be used on patients
who are cold hypersensitive, experience
compromised local circulation or vasopastic
diseases such as Raynauds. If abnormal
pain, swelling or unusual reactions are
experienced while using this product,
remove and discontinue use until further
advised by a medical professional.
