Hydrogel
electrodes were developed in the
1950's for cardiac and respiratory
sensing and were not designed for
delivery of energy. Hydrogel electrodes
became the delivery interface to
the body via TENS units because they
were the only option available at
that time. Given the small size of
hydrogel electrodes it can be difficult
to position them properly for the
most effective treatment. Thermoskin
conductive pads come in 3 sizes that
make proper placement much easier.
Simply place the conductive pad inside
a Thermoskin Thermal Support and
secure to the affected area for treatment.
